Thank you for your interest in becoming a Vermont Food Security Coalition Ally. Vermont Food Security Coalition Allies are organizations that publicly support the Vermont Food Security Roadmap to 2035 goals, objectives, and/or strategies. Becoming an Ally is a good fit for your organization if you are interested in collaborating with the Coalition, and participating in the Coalition’s Roadmap projects that align with your organization’s work. Allies receive Coalition email updates, with information about Roadmap and Coalition activities and opportunities related to advocacy, strategy, planning, and outreach.
To become a Coalition Ally, organizational leaders sign a statement of commitment. The commitment form is below. It includes a brief questionnaire about organizational areas of interest related to the Roadmap. When the Coalition works on specific Roadmap strategies, we reach out to collaborate with Allies who have expressed interest in those issues.
The Coalition believes that joy, love, creativity and fun are vital to success, and we hope it will be fun to be a Coalition Ally.
The Coalition advocates for State policy, because our State government can make policy choices that lead to food security for all. Signing up as a Coalition Ally is not the same as signing up to support the Coalition’s policy agenda. We do not use Ally logos or names on our policy agenda. Opportunities to sign on to the Coalition’s policy agenda are kept separate.
